Ida Red: A Benefit Concert for the Hermitage of the Annunciation

The King's Chapel hosts a Benefit Concert featuring Ida Red, a band known for their great songwriting plus old-time harmonies and foot-stompers.

The performance is part of a concert series hosted by the Chapel as a way to give students the opportunity to find and support worthwhile projects in Nova Scotia.

Entry is free, and donations accepted at this performance will help support the monks of the Hermitage of the Annunciation in New Germany, NS as they embark on a new building project to welcome visitors into their space.

Ida Red hails from Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. They perform a rowdy fun mix of old-time fiddle and banjo tunes, mixed in with original songs created by the powerful team of Heather Kelday and Kim Barlow.

Check them out on their Youtube Channel.
